The Youth Indoor Football Tournament for the Artez Company Cup from Bolesławiec was held on Saturday, January 22, in Nowogrodziec. The competition was dominated by two Zagłębie Lubin teams, which scored a total of 57 goals against their opponents while conceding only 12. Chrobry Nowogrodziec finished in third place. What is more, Jakub Kosior, a Chrobry player, was named the tournament’s top scorer, with 10 goals. Meanwhile, Kornel Koziarz was named the competition’s best goalkeeper, and Hubert Krawczun the best player (both represent Zagłębie Lubin).
The cups and awards were presented by Piotr Pyrz from Artez Bolesławiec. The tournament was organized by Damian Sawczak and Dariusz Wojtowicz. Another indoor football tournament will be held on January 29 this year, this time featuring orlik teams: WKS Śląsk Wrocław, Górnik Polkowice, Oderka Opole and Karkonosze Jelenia Góra.
The competition organizers thank Józef Rutyna and the company Rutpol as well as Józef Rosa, headmaster of the Gymnasium in Nowogrodziec.
