We have reported many times on the eventful history of the heron from the fountain by the town pond, including in the article The heron returned to its place.
The sculpture has disappeared again. This time, however, it was dismantled by PWiK employees, commissioned by the Municipal Housing Management Authority.
The artifact has been secured for the winter. It will return to the fountain in the spring of next year.
