This exceptional event will be full of attractions introducing participants to the region’s rich cultural heritage and the traditions associated with St. Hedwig.
As part of the celebrations, a number of interesting activities have been planned:
- Period scene: During the event, artistic presentations referring to the history and traditions of the region and St. Hedwig of Silesia will take place.
- Reenactment group: History enthusiasts will present everyday life in the Middle Ages, allowing participants to travel back in time and see what life was like for our ancestors.
- Medieval stall: Handicrafts will be available for purchase.
- Calligraphy and weaving: Participants will have the opportunity to try their hand at calligraphy and learn the secrets of weaving, which will certainly provide many unforgettable experiences.
Village councils from the Municipality of Nowogrodziec: Stalls with traditional baked goods will await participants. Residents of the village councils will prepare tasty cakes, coffee, tea, and more.
Additional attractions will include:
- Visiting the monastery: Participants will be able to learn about the monastery’s history and admire its architecture.
- Observation tower: It is also worth visiting the observation tower, which offers a beautiful panorama of the surrounding area.
The celebrations of the Patron Saint’s Day of the Municipality and Town of Nowogrodziec are not only an excellent opportunity to have fun, but also to learn about local history and culture. We encourage everyone to participate in this exceptional event, which will surely remain in the participants’ memories for a long time.
