On this occasion, the Ceramics Museum invites all seniors to visit our permanent exhibitions free of charge on October 5–6, 2024, during the opening hours of our facilities:
- Centre of Former Pottery Techniques (14 Kutuzowa Street, open: Saturday 10:00–16:00, closed on Sunday),
- Ceramics Museum (28–29 Zgorzelecka Street, open: Saturday–Sunday 09:00–17:00).
We would like to remind you that the courtyard of the Centre of Former Pottery Techniques features an original 19th-century ceramic kiln and a replica of the Great Pot, both fully accessible to visitors. At the Centre itself, you can learn the secrets of Bolesławiec ceramics production technology and see a beautiful exhibition of contemporary vessels manufactured by more than 30 local businesses.
Senior Weekend with Culture is also a great opportunity to visit the new premises of the Ceramics Museum at 28–29 Zgorzelecka Street. A visit to our facility includes more than 10 rooms filled with beautiful exhibits, an extraordinary arrangement, multimedia and a narrative concerning not only ceramics, but also the city’s rich history, so when planning your visit, make sure to allow enough time.
