As recently as yesterday, in the area of Rajska and Bobrowa streets, water from the Bóbr River had flooded areas near the river. Today, the water flooded the stadium where BKS Bolesławiec plays its matches. The entire playing surface is under water. The water has reached the stands.

Water inundated the properties on Bobrowa Street located closest to the river. In some places, water is being pumped out of flooded basements and sandbags are being laid.

According to local residents, large amounts of water in the area of the boulevard, pitch, and Rajska and Bobrowa streets were also present during the previous major floods of 1997 and 1977. Some residents still remember a situation in which almost the entire stands of the local stadium ended up under water.
