Moderate to heavy rainfall has been occurring throughout the region since morning. The heaviest rain is falling in the Sudetes and the Sudetic Foothills. In the highest parts of the Karkonosze, sleet and snow are falling.
Over the next few hours, gusty winds are also expected to join the heavy rainfall, reaching up to 70 km/h in lowland areas. In the mountains, wind gusts may exceed 100 km/h.
Rises in water levels and exceedances of alert levels are also forecast on rivers in the region. Local flooding is possible.
