Suspended balconies are becoming increasingly popular because they are a modern and elegant solution that can transform any apartment block. Their unique construction, involving suspending the balcony directly from the building’s wall, means they are not only a functional addition but also a stylish architectural feature.
“No one has ever attached balconies to PRL-era buildings in Bolesławiec before,” says a resident of the block. “When we proposed to our Bolesławianka housing cooperative that we wanted balconies, they said we would be pioneers. The residents made the proposal almost two years ago. The cooperative prepared the necessary documentation, the residents raised the money, and finally, this autumn, I will be drinking coffee on my balcony,” the resident added.
A balcony instead of a large window is an excellent solution to the problem faced by apartment-block residents who dream of a piece of outdoor space. Thanks to its lightweight and practical construction, installation takes just a few hours. All that is needed is to attach the balcony to the wall using special anchors or studs.
They are not only an aesthetic addition to the building but also offer a range of design possibilities that can bring a touch of luxury and comfort to our lives.
