As reported by the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters:
(...) yesterday, during the evening hours, police intervened on aleja Wojska Polskiego in Bolesławiec, during which the body of a deceased person was discovered. Bolesławiec officers immediately took action, which led to the detention of two people in connection with the case.
Activities are currently being carried out to establish the course and circumstances of the incident, as well as the involvement of the detained individuals in the event. The Bolesławiec District Prosecutor’s Office is supervising the activities.
Investigators are not providing details of the case for now.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, 21 August, during the evening hours, in a building on aleja Wojska Polskiego in Bolesławiec. In the morning, a reader wrote to us:
Yesterday there was some kind of incident involving uniformed services; apparently someone killed someone. I spoke to a tenant who saw them carrying someone out in a bag on Wojska Polskiego.
We managed to confirm that such an incident had occurred.
