– Lubań police officers were notified by a man about criminal threats made against him – reports Senior Sergeant Łukasz Porębski from the Press Section of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław. – The report indicated that the alleged perpetrator was the reporting man's 36-year-old neighbor.
He adds:
The evidence gathered in the case indicates that, when making criminal threats against the victim, the perpetrator was holding a machete. Police determined that immediately after the incident, the 36-year-old smashed a bottle of alcohol and then left the scene.
Fearing for his life and health, the victim notified the police about the incident. Criminal investigators immediately began official activities aimed at establishing all circumstances relevant to the case and, above all, arresting the perpetrator.
Spokesperson: – During these activities, the 36-year-old was arrested. In addition, criminal investigators found a carefully concealed machete in his apartment.
The aggressor faces up to three years in prison. Moreover, the prosecutor placed him under police supervision. The 36-year-old is also banned from approaching or contacting the victim.
