According to Fakt, which spoke with police spokesperson asp. sztab. Łukasz Dutkowiak, the white Skoda Citigo was found by acquaintances sent by the woman’s father before the police arrived at the scene. Had the police arrived first, the car would have been secured and taken to a police parking lot for examination.
The car will now be submitted for expert examination. An expert will assess the vehicle’s technical condition and check whether it may have suffered a breakdown that prevented Izabela from continuing her journey.
Additionally, police conducted an operation at the site where the car was found on Saturday, with the participation of tracking dogs. Traffic in both directions on the motorway was temporarily closed to enable the area to be searched. However, despite these efforts, the tracking dogs failed to pick up the trail of the missing 35-year-old.
