The ceramic parade traditionally signals the start of the ceramic festival. The parade passed through Bolesławiec’s market square, then continued along Sierpnia ’80 Street and ended on Asnyka Street, where the festival’s main stage is located.

Participants in the parade included, among others: the municipal and county authorities of Bolesławiec, councillors, participants in the istotne.pl picnic: Come, paint your world!, the LGBT+ community, delegations from Bolesławiec’s partner cities, representatives of the Ceramic Brotherhood and ceramic factories, Polish and American soldiers, the US Army band, delegations from schools, preschools, workplaces and other institutions, associations and sports clubs.
The official opening of the Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival took place on the main stage in the presence of city authorities, ceramic artists and invited guests.
