Unique medals are a special souvenir of the 30th anniversary Bolesławiec Ceramics Festival and the original Bolesławiec Gliniada.

All you have to do is come to our little town on Friday, August 16, at Bankowa Street (the park by the city pond), paint yourself with clay and take part in the Bolesławiec Gliniada.

This year, the Glinoludy and Glinoludki will join the exceptional ceramic parade on Friday, August 16. The town for Glinoludki, Glinoludy and everyone else will be open from 12:00 p.m.; we will line up for the parade at 4:00 p.m. Drummers from the Bloco Pomerania band and Zumba “Tańczące Glinoludki” will join us, all to the hot rhythms of a celebration straight from Rio de Janeiro!

The original Bolesławiec Gliniada

On Friday, August 16, representatives of the original Gliniada will join the Great Ceramic Parade of the 30th Bolesławiec Ceramics Festival! For seven years, istotne.pl and boleslawianie.eu have been organising the Gliniada (previously Glina Show), and many people want to paint themselves with slip and take part only in this event. We are organising our great, open event for them.

We remind you of the Manifesto of the original Gliniada, which is nobody’s little theatre show!

Gliniada is free, equal and imperfect.

Come, paint your world! Let us be free, equal and happy, because people are valuable just as they are. That is what is beautiful about them.

Every person is creative, and everyone can show it however they wish. No “artistic” labels are needed for that. You can appear in whatever clothes make you feel free, self-confident and happy. They do not have to be second-hand wedding dresses.

Freedom is as natural as a wheel, which is why we do not have bicycles with square wheels here.

You walk freely in the Gliniada. As you wish, without an overbearing guru who knows better how you should look, whom you should know and whom you should like—and who always has to rank higher than everyone else.

You are the subject and creator of the Gliniada. You are not an addition to an “artistic” event.

With us, you can be imperfect, uncombed and without wigs from France or makeup. You can make a mistake when choosing your outfit and pin a flower to a sheepskin coat!
