Last Saturday, after 5:00 p.m., police officers went to intervene at a house in Lwówek Śląski. – According to the reporting woman, her intoxicated son started a domestic altercation during which he threw food out of the fridge. He also threatened the woman with an axe, saying he would kill her. – reports junior aspirant Olga Łukaszewicz, press officer for the Lwówek KPP.
It turned out that the 41-year-old had already been convicted of abusing a close family member. – However, that was not the end of his problems – the spokesperson stresses. – The man tried to avoid arrest and, during the official procedures, offered the police officers PLN 200 each in exchange for abandoning further official action and releasing him.
The officers informed the aggressor that this was a crime. Despite this, the 41-year-old resident of Lwówek County insisted that the officers release him.
The result? The man was arrested and then temporarily detained by court order for three months. The 41-year-old was charged in connection with domestic violence (under recidivism) and attempting to offer a bribe. Police:
