Biuro Ronin does not use the services of “intermediaries” who harass people injured in random incidents in hospitals, cemeteries and homes, urging them to sign agreements hastily. People, often under the influence of emotions or medication, sign agreements that are extremely unfavorable to them.
Representatives of the “hyena” type, who offer the services of unknown law firms from distant cities already at cemeteries or hospitals, should be rejected first. If someone has no respect for an accident victim and their family, it is difficult to expect them later to show respect for the victim and their family as clients.
It is important to remember that an injured person does not have to seek compensation immediately after an accident. They have time to do so. Depending on the classification of the unlawful act, the time limit for submitting claims is from 3 to 20 years. The earliest accident handled by the office was a child being hit by a vehicle in 1992. The most recent payment to an injured person who was already an adult was a one-off amount of PLN 600,000, in 2018.
The effectiveness of Biuro Ronin is demonstrated by facts—in the form of compensation amounts obtained for injured people:
Beating at school
In 2017, at a primary school in one of the nearby municipalities, one student beat another during a lesson. At the time of the assault, the teacher was absent; he had left. When the injured person reached adulthood, they contacted Biuro Ronin. The municipal and school authorities brazenly evaded responsibility. After losing the trial, the municipality filed an appeal, which it also lost. Despite the judgment becoming final, the municipality did not comply with it. After a pre-enforcement demand for payment was sent, they paid a total of over PLN 20,000 from their own assets. Originally, the out-of-court settlement proposed by the office amounted to PLN 15,000.
Serious workplace accident
In 2019, in Trzebień, an employee of a company suffered a serious accident caused by another employee of that company. The accident was caused by gross negligence at the company, poor work organization and lack of supervision. After the case was commissioned, PLN 180,000 was initially obtained for the injured person as compensation and damages, along with a pension of PLN 1,000 per month. The injured person has now received an additional PLN 300,000. Proceedings are still pending to increase the pension to PLN 2,500, as the injured person became disabled.
Illness caused by working conditions
In 2021, a resident of Zgorzelec municipality was diagnosed with vibration disease as a result of working conditions. After the case was entrusted to Biuro Ronin, a total of PLN 380,000 was obtained as compensation, damages and pension equalization. A pension for increased needs and a supplementary pension were also obtained, totaling PLN 3,000 per month, for life.
Road accident and serious injuries
In 2020, a road accident occurred in Bolesławiec in which a young man supporting his wife and children suffered serious and extensive bodily injuries. At present, the Client of Biuro Ronin has received PLN 250,000 in damages. Proceedings are pending concerning the award by the insurer of pensions for increased needs and a supplementary pension representing the difference between the remuneration earned by the injured person before the accident and the pension currently received from ZUS.
Latest update
In 2020, a Client of Biuro Ronin suffered a very serious road accident in our county. The young woman became disabled. After the claim was submitted, the insurer of the vehicle responsible for the accident paid only PLN 55,000 in compensation and damages and awarded a pension of PLN 1,000.
After lengthy proceedings, the Client of Biuro Ronin ultimately received an additional 1,100,000 zlotys in damages and compensation. The insurer also pays the office’s Client two pensions totaling PLN 4,800. Negotiations are currently underway with the insurer regarding the possible capitalization of pension benefits, intended to provide the injured person with independence and financial security in the future. The amount currently proposed by the office as the capitalization of the pensions is PLN 4,500,000. The insurer is analyzing the proposal.
Biuro Ronin offers free consultations, legal support and the lowest commission on the market. Importantly for the injured person, the transfer from the insurer goes directly to their account. The office also provides medical assessments, vehicle valuations, court and out-of-court proceedings. The office may also participate in the costs of the proceedings.
It is worth remembering that Biuro Ronin deals not only with compensation resulting from road accidents. Compensation may also be sought for workplace accidents, claims against employers, random incidents, and damage to or destruction of property (as a result of fires, storms, floods, windstorms and other tragic events).
