In reference to the outrage expressed by some people and media, and the “controversy” surrounding the performance at the opening of the Games of the song “Imagine”, I would like to draw attention to two situations that took place more than two years ago.
First: as part of an act of solidarity with Ukraine, a concert was held during which Natalia Kukulska and Tomasz Ziętek performed this song. But something even more interesting happened: during the Legia Warszawa–Dynamo Kyiv match at Legia's stadium, two female singers performed “Imagine” at the end.
As for the so-called Last Supper stunt, it is worth drawing attention to the 2018 short film “The Last Hangover”, made by the Brazilian comedy group “Porta dos fundos”. Now that is a Last Supper.
