This year marks the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising. On 1 August, at the W Hour, sirens will sound throughout the country to commemorate all those who fought for our freedom.
Ceremonies, concerts, exhibitions and other events commemorating this historic event will be held in many Polish cities. It is a time for reflection and tribute to those who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for independence.
