A two-day event is taking place in the Market Square. The Christmas Ceramic Fair is combined with the Bolesławiec Star of Kindness.
Among the many attractions, the live nativity scene proved the most popular. And not only among children. Adults also watched the beautiful Merino sheep, goats, a heifer and donkeys. Santa Claus reading fairy tales to the children experienced a true siege. Sitting on hay with Santa Claus, the children recited their favourite Brzechwa and Tuwim fairy tales from memory. As a reward, they received sweets.
Bands from the BOK-MCC music workshop performed on stage. The group “Poeticon” prepared the performance. The bands were introduced and the artistic programme was hosted by an exceptional pair: Mrs Claus and Santa Claus, namely Ewa Lijewska-Małachowska, director of BOK-MCC, and her husband, Jerzy Małachowski.
The organisers have prepared an equally attractive programme for Sunday. They especially invite everyone to the Parade with Santa Claus, which will conclude this year’s Christmas Ceramic Fair.
