On 29 April this year, MP Arkadiusz Sikora met with the city mayor outside the passport office premises in Bolesławiec. During the conversation, MP Sikora learned the details behind the delayed opening of the new passport office and immediately began intervening in the matter, seeking to launch the facility as soon as possible. The passport office will begin operating in September.

During a Wednesday meeting (17 July) with hospital director Kamil Barczyk, Arkadiusz Sikora raised the issue of completing construction of the building at the centre of the facility. This investment, begun in 2019 (during the tenure of county head Karol Stasik), still remains unfinished. Completing the project would provide the medical facility with 60 additional beds, significantly improving local residents’ access to healthcare services.

On Wednesday, MP Sikora also met with Mayor Piotr Roman, who expressed his gratitude for the effective intervention and the rapid opening of the passport office. The talks also covered obtaining funds to complete construction of the Bolesławiec bypass. The new route, including the section from Łąka, is intended to reduce road traffic in the city and provide logistical support for military purposes related to transporting equipment to the American base in Trzebień and Bolesławiec.

Also taking part in the meetings was Łukasz Klimowski, assistant to MP Arkadiusz Sikora, supporting his superior in these important activities for the local community.

Thanks to Arkadiusz Sikora’s commitment and determination, Bolesławiec residents can expect key investments to be implemented more quickly, significantly improving the quality of life in the region.
