Work is underway on the construction of a sports complex, along with accompanying infrastructure, on the grounds of Primary School No. 5 at Dolne Młyny Street.

City Hall officials:

As part of the project, a 160-metre circular track with a synthetic surface is being built, along with a long-jump pit with a runway connected to the track and a high-jump area with a synthetic surface. Inside the track, a multifunctional sports court has been planned, with playing areas for handball, mini-basketball, volleyball and tennis. The project also includes a shot-put circle and the installation of fitness-course equipment: a movable footbridge, jumping hurdles, fitness posts and a horizontal ladder.

They add:

A prefabricated steel shelter will also be erected on the school grounds, and small-architecture elements will be installed. The works include the construction of a drainage system and lawns. The complex will be fenced.

Contractor: BUD – ZIEM from Pszenno. Project value: PLN 3,045,000. The funds come from the budget of the City of Bolesławiec. The works are scheduled for completion at the end of August 2024.
