A resident of Asnyka Street in Bolesławiec contacted the istotne.pl editorial office. During a telephone conversation, the woman asked us to intervene over the lack of access to gas in the block on Asnyka Street.

According to her, residents of the aforementioned street living in stairwells numbered 17, 18 and 19 have no access to gas. The woman claims that there has been no gas since Monday and that there is no information about when supplies will be restored.

Unofficially, we learned that the gas was turned off because of a failure that is to be repaired.

We asked the property manager for an official comment on the matter. We will publish the comment as soon as we receive it.

Here is the comment:

CIVITAS Zarządzanie Nieruchomościami:

Good morning!

I would like to inform you that the gas supply to the building at Asnyka 17, 18 and 19 was shut off on 01.07.2024 following a major leak in the gas pipe in the basement. Since the failure is serious, it is not possible to turn the gas back on within 1–2 days. All necessary activities and arrangements are currently being carried out so that work on the building can begin as soon as possible. The work related to repairing the failure will involve modernising part of the gas installation on the properties. Since the first day of the failure, residents have been informed about the situation both in writing and by telephone. The property manager will soon provide the owners with details at a meeting of the Homeowners' Associations, which has been urgently convened for 08.07.2024.
