As we read on the website of the Wrocław branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways:
Work is under way on expanding the road system along national road no. 94. A new bridge will be built, and the existing structure over the Bóbr River will be reconstructed.
What is currently being done?
Road administrator: – Work is currently under way to expand the existing roundabout and build access roads to the new structure across the river. Networks conflicting with the investment—namely, the gas pipeline, water supply system and power networks—are being reconstructed. The contractor is carrying out earthworks, including work on embankments connected with the expansion of the roundabout.
When will the new road system be ready?
Road workers: – All works are scheduled to be completed in 2026. Putting the investment into service will increase the capacity of the road system and improve road traffic safety.
Let us recall. We reported on the investment in detail in the article Work has begun on the construction of a bridge over the Bóbr River. Trees have been cut down.
Moreover, the Wrocław GDDKiA adds that 48 investments are being carried out as part of the Safe Road Infrastructure Programme:
(…) which means lighting will be added at 303 pedestrian crossings. Pavements with a total length of approximately 2.5 km will also be built. The projects are being carried out on DK8 (Szczytna), DK94 (Oława, Siechnice, Radwanice, Groblice, Godzikowice, Gać, Wykroty, Czerna), and DK25 (Międzybórz). The total value of the projects currently under way exceeds PLN 61 million.
The works can be followed on an ongoing basis on our website via an online camera.
