The “Optimism Olympics” have become a permanent fixture in the calendar of events at the “Senior+” Daily Centre in Bolesławiec. The fourth edition took place on 13 June. The event was held under the honorary patronage of Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman.

Bolesławiec City Hall: – The sports competitions prepared by MOSiR Bolesławiec, along with sharing food and drink to music and singing, are a good way to bring smiles and joy and promote an active lifestyle among seniors.

The event was also attended by participants from the 1st and 2nd Community Self-Help Homes in Bolesławiec, the Bolesławiec Nursing Home, and children from the District Complex of Schools and Special-Education Institutions in Bolesławiec.

The event was rounded off by a meeting with Bella, a Newfoundland, and a talk by the dog’s owner, Ms Kasia, about dog-assisted therapy. Miś Ryś cheered up the participants and also accompanied them during the sports competitions.
