As we read on the website of the Voivodeship Police Headquarters:

We have witnessed the ceremonial farewell to the First Deputy Police Chief for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Wrocław, Insp. Robert Frąckowiak, who had jointly led the Lower Silesian police force for more than five years. He will now share his extensive experience with the capital’s police officers, having taken up the position of Deputy Chief of the Warsaw Metropolitan Police for support services.

The Press Section of the Wrocław Voivodeship Police Headquarters adds:

At the same time, the Chief of Police entrusted Insp. Norbert Kurenda, the then Deputy Chief of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Police Headquarters supervising the prevention division (and former head of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters—editor’s note: istotne.pl), with performing the duties of First Deputy Police Chief for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Wrocław.

It also recalled:

During the ceremonial speeches, Insp. Norbert Kurenda also addressed those present. By order of the Chief of Police, he had been entrusted with performing the duties of First Deputy Police Chief for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Wrocław. He thanked them for the distinction, undoubtedly represented by his promotion to deputy head of the Lower Silesian force, as well as for the trust placed in him by the Chief of Police and the Chief of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Police Headquarters.

Let us recall that in February last year we reported that a meeting of the Lower Silesian police management took place at the headquarters of the Voivodeship Police Headquarters in Wrocław. It was directly connected with the retirement of Deputy Police Chief for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Wrocław, Insp. Paweł Barski.

And we added:

As it turned out, the now-retired officer would be replaced by the then head of the Bolesławiec police, Insp. Norbert Kurenda. It was a historic promotion—the commander of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters became deputy chief of the Voivodeship Police Headquarters for the first time.

The Wrocław Voivodeship Police Headquarters reported at the time:

Inspector Norbert Kurenda, previously Commander of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters, received the personnel order entrusting him with performing the duties of Deputy Police Chief for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Wrocław as of February 7, 2023.

It added:

The commander began his service in 1994 at the Jawor County Police Headquarters, where he worked in the prevention division until 2004. He then advanced to his first management position—Deputy Head of the Prevention Department at the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica—and later became head of that department. In 2006, he became Head of the Police Staff Department at the Legnica Municipal Police Headquarters. Another promotion came in 2008, when he was entrusted with performing the duties of First Deputy Commander of the Lubań County Police Headquarters, followed in 2016 by the position of Commander of the Lubań County Police Headquarters. From 2019 until now, Insp. Norbert Kurenda served as Commander of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters.
