The man was arrested on Saturday in Bolesławiec. This is how the Pedophile Hunters from the Elusive Child Protection Unit Poland organization describe the operation:

Our would-be visitor seeking a meeting with a child today was Krzysztof W. The 42-year-old man traveled to Bolesławiec to meet an 11-year-old girl. He had been “looking after” the child from April 30, 2024, until today. At first, an innocent conversation turned into a desire to obtain naked photographs of the child. Each subsequent stage became increasingly disturbing. He asked whether the 11-year-old girl would perform oral sex on him and even described his fantasies about deep throating. His desire to meet was very strong; he arranged the meeting a month before his planned trip to Bolesławiec. When the child had doubts about the meeting, he began saying that if she did not do it, he would undress her in the bushes and r(...)pe her. He came to the meeting expecting to meet an 11-year-old without underwear and go to the river… We can only speculate about what might have happened if a child had actually come to the meeting.

The man, who is from Legnica, was handed over to the Bolesławiec police. At first, the police did not want to confirm the incident. “We cannot provide any information. This is such a sensitive matter that we cannot provide information,” a policewoman said. When asked what made the case sensitive, she replied that we knew what we were asking about. She provided no information.

Later, we obtained information and confirmation that such an incident and arrest had taken place. Police confirmed that both men had been arrested on suspicion of arranging to meet a person who claimed to be under 11 years of age and making sexual propositions to that person. The prosecutor’s office will conduct the proceedings in this case.

Who are the Pedophile Hunters?

They are people who pretend to be children online and arrange meetings with adults. They then call the police during the in-person meeting. Their provocations make it possible to arrest potential perpetrators of crimes.
