Legnica police officers were called to intervene with a 37-year-old man who had allegedly threatened to take another man's life. – During the identity check, the man violated the officers' bodily integrity, tugged at their uniforms, kicked them, and threatened to take their lives and harm their health – reports Senior Commissioner Jagoda Ekiert, press officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica. – The police officers successfully restrained and arrested the resident of Ruja municipality and placed him in police custody.

She adds:

On the basis of the evidence gathered, the man was charged, among other things, with abuse, violating an officer's bodily integrity, making criminal threats, attempting to steal a handbag containing documents and money, and causing bodily injury.

The court remanded the aggressor in custody for three months. Since the 37-year-old is a repeat offender, he faces up to 7.5 years in prison.
