Members of the Bolesławiec Women’s Association “In Gremio” organized a collection of donations No. 2024/882/KS (Social Committee: Ewa Słonina, Małgorzata Mikiel and Urszula Magryś) for the residents of Long-Term Care Facility No. 9 of the Regional Hospital for the Nervously and Mentally Ill in Bolesławiec.

The aim of the collection was to gather essential items to improve the functioning of the ward and the patients’ well-being, so that their stay at the facility would be dignified and as comfortable as possible. The list of needs included everyday-use items, kitchen and patient-room equipment, hygiene products, office supplies and materials for therapeutic activities, which will help with daily life.
The collection continued until the end of May this year. The donors, including residents of the town and the entire Bolesławiec County, included students from I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Władysława Broniewskiego w Bolesławcu and Zespół Szkół Handlowych i Usługowych im. Jana Kochanowskiego w Bolesławcu.
The “In Gremio” association summarizes: – Once again, the local community did not let us down. People proved to be wonderful, empathetic and compassionate. The estimated value of the donations exceeds PLN 8,000.
