On Thursday, December 2, Bolesławiec mayor Piotr Roman, Tadeusz Szulc, director of PKP’s Real Estate Management Branch in Wrocław, and Mikołaj Krzaczkowski, Szulc’s deputy, signed a notarial deed concerning the purchase of the former Eastern Railway Station site. For PLN 3.185 million, the city acquired perpetual usufruct of an area covering nearly 3.9 hectares.
A public-purpose project is to be developed on the site located by Hutnicza, Staroszkolna and Chrobrego streets. Until final decisions are made, however, the city plans to create a central car park in the area.
