In a conversation with us, Maciej Małkowski explains that the coalition agreement between Ziemia Bolesławiecka and Piotr Roman’s councillors has ended, and that is why he is losing his position. Today, he received his dismissal from the mayor. Małkowski will finish working at the City Hall on December 6.
Maciej Małkowski was recently elected to the County Council on behalf of Ziemia Bolesławiecka, with which Piotr Roman’s councillors had until recently formed a coalition in the City Council. After the latest elections, Roman no longer needs coalition partners because his councillors have a majority on the council.
Małkowski has not revealed his professional plans. He worked as deputy mayor for three and a half years.
As we have learned, nothing is happening regarding the second deputy mayor, Wiesław Ogrodnik, and Piotr Roman has no plans whatsoever to dismiss him. For now, the mayor has not revealed whom he will appoint in Małkowski’s place.
