Officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters conducted activities related to the May Day weekend from April 30 to May 5. KPP: – During the six days, officers intervened nearly 270 times, checked 470 people and inspected 220 vehicles.
On the roads of Bolesławiec County, 16 collisions and one road accident were recorded. In addition, five drivers were arrested after getting behind the wheel despite court-imposed driving bans.
That was not all. Bolesławiec police:
Three people wanted by the courts and the prosecutor’s office were arrested. A driver who had been drinking and a drunk cyclist were also arrested. Searches were conducted for three missing people.
And added: – Police officers took part in ceremonies held on May 2 and 3 and in a festival in Gromadka; community officers from Kruszyn, together with the Forest Service, checked forest areas. Officers secured the gathering, ceremonies and a football match.
