A reader contacted us asking for help publicizing the matter and sent us a video of the incident.
"I am making a great request to you to post this information on your website. On 02 May 2024, at 7:41 p.m., a resident of our building on Zygmunta Augusta Street decided to throw a jar with a fork through the window. As a result, he smashed a car window. I will not comment on the fact that someone threw something through a window, because there is nothing to comment on.
My request is this: perhaps someone saw somebody throwing it at that moment. If so, please call the police at 47 87 332 00.
And to the perpetrator I have this request: if you had the courage to throw something through the window, perhaps you will have at least enough courage to report yourself to the police. You smashed the window, but you could have injured someone."
