In recent weeks, numerous cases of illegal graffiti have appeared in various parts of the city. Although most of these works are typical ugly scribbles, it is worth noting that there are also genuinely intelligent graphics that could be considered street art.

Today, Mariusz sent us a photo of graffiti on the wall of the tenement building at 5 B. Prusa Street in Bolesławiec. Here is the text of the inscription:

Since you're already reading illegal graffititi, perhaps you could read a book too

The police are, of course, appealing to residents to report all cases of illegal painting on walls and buildings. Although some of these works may be aesthetically attractive, creating them without the owner's permission is illegal and constitutes a violation of the law.

The city authorities could, however, consider the possibility of preserving some of the intelligent graphics that may have a positive impact on urban space. Decisions in this matter could be made on an individual basis, taking into account both residents' opinions and artistic criteria.

If you see an attractive graphic, send it to us.
