After the publication of the article A teenage girl slapped another teenager at a bus stop and made him kneel. Outrageous video circulates online another Reader wrote to us. She sent us a video in which one very young girl slaps another, while a third records it. According to our informant, this is not the only offense attributed to the infamous heroine of the recording, a student at the Public Primary School of the Piarist Order in Bolesławiec.

The Reader who sent us the video helped us contact the mother of another victimized girl. (Not the one being humiliated in the footage.) The mother of the 13-year-old told us how her daughter became a victim of violence at the hands of the aggressor known from the video. On a social media platform, her daughter... commented on a photo. It was not a malicious comment, but a completely neutral one; nevertheless, it triggered the student in question. She considered it a provocation.

The harassment began. The girl and her friend, a student at another school, threatened to beat our interviewee’s daughter. When the minor blocked them on social media, they ordered her to unblock their accounts, again threatening physical violence.

What is more, they nearly carried out their plan. They attacked the 13-year-old in Bonin Park at the beginning of April. They knew it was her birthday and wanted to beat her up on that occasion. – They started shouting that she should apologize – the victim’s mother recounts. She adds that her daughter did so, although to this day she does not really know what for.

Fortunately, the beating did not take place because the mother called her daughter at the crucial moment. When the girl said, “Hello, Mom!”, the attackers backed off.

The girl told her mother about the whole incident only three days later. The woman reported it to the police. – My child is afraid to leave the house alone – our interviewee tells us. According to her, more people are being intimidated by these aggressors. They include minors from both Bolesławiec and the surrounding area.

– I do not know what causes this kind of behavior, but such matters should be publicized; someone should deal with them – the woman from Bolesławiec emphasizes. She also points out that, to her knowledge, situations of this kind have been occurring for more than a year. Both attackers have probation officers and numerous cases before the family court.

And she concludes: – Why is nobody doing anything about this? Do we have to wait until another child jumps from an overpass?

Our interviewee referred us to another mother, a resident of Bolesławiec County, whose daughter had also become a target of the aggressor seen in the recording. Last December, the latter recorded a song insulting another student at the institution run by the Piarists. – It was a disgusting recording. And she sent it to children throughout the school and to all her friends – says the mother of another victimized girl.

She adds that the matter was reported both to the police and to the school administration. The attacker was allegedly to face consequences; she was supposed to be expelled from the school. That did not happen, however. Two months ago, the only information received from the police was that the family court would handle the matter.

This victimized girl is also afraid to leave the house.

The Reader who sent us the recording summed it up: – I burst into tears when I saw that child being beaten at the bus stop. Is this some kind of trend? In our time, we played differently. As the mother of a teenager, I find it terrifying.

We were unable to speak with anyone from the Piarist School. No one answered the mobile phone numbers listed on the website, probably because of the long holiday weekend.
