Officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec identified the driver of a vehicle who failed to stop for a traffic inspection. KPP: – The 36-year-old wanted to avoid the police patrol because he was subject to a court-imposed driving ban. After the incident, he hid the vehicle in the forest and thought that this way he would avoid the consequences of disregarding the court’s ruling.

The police quickly established that the 36-year-old had been driving the vehicle they wanted to inspect.
The man continued to avoid contact with the officers, so once the police determined where he worked, he was arrested and charged. The first charge concerns failing to stop for a traffic inspection, while the second concerns violating a court-imposed ban that remains in effect for the suspect until 2025 in connection with driving while intoxicated and after using drugs.
The resident of Nowogrodziec municipality faces up to five years in prison.
