The new headquarters of the Ceramics Museum make a tremendous impression—especially the galleries arranged for the rich and very high-quality permanent exhibitions.

The county governor of Telemark, Bolesławiec’s partner in the Poland and Norway on the European Ceramic Route project, attended the conference wearing traditional Norwegian dress. In Norway, this outfit is worn only on exceptional, solemn occasions.

“Thank you for your cooperation with Bolesławiec. It was amazing to see on the slides how the project was created. Building a community in Europe is very important, and this project is an example of such cooperation,” said the county governor, Sven Tore Løkslid.

Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman thanked the museum employees, led by their director Anna Bober-Tubaj, for the tremendous amount of work they put into the project. He also recalled how the palace building had deteriorated and how it was restored to its former glory.

On this special day, the Bolesławiec museum staff received the Honorary Badge of Merit for Lower Silesia.
