President Piotr Roman, while presenting his report, mentioned, among other things, what happened to one of the local entrepreneurs. The letter with an invitation to the awards ceremony for the promotion of Bolesławiec, which the municipal office sent on March 4, reached the addressee… yesterday, that is, on March 26.
The mayor added sarcastically that the aforementioned businessman lives about 2.5 km from the post office, so the said letter covered approximately 100 m each day.
He also added that on future occasions of this kind, invitees would have to be notified by phone.
