In the 15th round of the Lower Silesian fourth-division competition, BKS Bobrzanie hosted MKS Szczawno Zdrój. Our team took the lead quickly. In the 3rd minute of the match, Chrystian Serkies opened the scoring. The BKS striker collected the ball after Emil Nowakowski’s cross and confidently beat the visiting goalkeeper.
Three minutes later, it could already have been 2:0. Following an attack down the right side of the pitch, Łukasz Filipiak sent the ball into the penalty area. The visiting defender, who intervened uncertainly, nearly put the ball into his own net. BKS were clearly dominant. The visitors did not register their first shot on Sebastian Łokaj’s goal until the 23rd minute. Rafał Stanuszek’s effort was inaccurate, however. A minute later, BKS had another opportunity. Marcin Głowacki passed to Chrystian Serkies. The latter shot without hesitation, but the goalkeeper managed to parry the ball straight into the path of Łukasz Polański. Unfortunately, Łukasz missed the open goal.
In the 26th minute, the hosts had another good opportunity. Kamil Mielnik passed to Adam Klimas, but the latter sent the ball over the crossbar. The score did not change before half-time. During the break, deputy county head Stanisław Chwojnicki presented Łukasz Filipiak with new football boots for the goal he scored in the match against Strzelinianka Strzelin.
The second half began with BKS conceding a goal. In the 46th minute, the home defenders briefly “fell asleep”, with disastrous consequences. Michał Drąg scored to make it 1:1. The Bolesławiec players set about making up the deficit. In the 47th minute, Łukasz Filipiak unleashed a shot at the Szczawno goal, but Damian Michno was not caught off guard. In the 63rd minute, Sebastian Łokaj intervened uncertainly. Fortunately for BKS, the visiting player failed to find the net. A minute later, Chrystian Serkies missed the ball in the visitors’ penalty area. In the 65th minute, following an individual effort, Kamil Mielnik beat the visiting goalkeeper. In the 86th minute, Karol Bednarowski also produced a fine effort, but the ball hit the side netting. The score did not change again, and BKS defeated MKS Szczawno Zdrój 2:1.
BKS: Łokaj – Głowacki (79' Nowakowski M.), Pietrzak, Sworacki, Rajchel, Klimas, Polański (89' Bochnia), Nowakowski E., Filipiak, Mielnik, Serkies (74' Bednarowski).
