Contrary to popular belief, activity and social integration are very important for this social group. However, it does not always receive adequate attention, which is why the Bolesławiec Conference Centre, belonging to Hotel ibis Styles, has launched a project aimed at our Bolesławiec seniors.
The project, called “Active Senior Zone,” is an initiative aimed at creating a space dedicated to older people, where they can spend their time in an interesting way, develop their interests and meet other people of a similar age.
The project includes various activities, workshops, themed meetings, and cultural and entertainment events. Its aim is to promote social integration, a healthy lifestyle and physical activity among seniors, as well as to provide them with social support and opportunities to spend time in a pleasant and valuable way.
The project brings together senior institutions from Bolesławiec and the surrounding area, as well as individual groups.
The venue honors the Nationwide Senior Card, which provides a 10% discount on services (the card can be obtained by completing the form on the glosseniora.pl website). Among other benefits, it entitles holders to enjoy breakfasts at the hotel’s Winestone restaurant at an attractive price suited to a senior’s budget. Breakfast is served to everyone every day from 7:00 a.m. upon saying “Senior.” If a sufficient number of people sign up, subscription lunches are also planned, and registration is already open.
