The Lower Silesian Sports Centre was named Poland’s best sports centre in 2022. The distinction was awarded during the Warsaw Gala of the 5th Sport Biznes Polska Congress. What makes DCS #NaPolanie stand out?
DCS is a sports centre worthy of champions. The facility meets the requirements of international federations, along with all the facilities necessary for professional training. A sports hall, gyms, training machines, a wellness area and a hypoxia system regulating the oxygen content in the room—all this can be found at #NaPolanie.
The Lower Silesian Sports Centre is a place welcoming to children and young people, as well as people with disabilities. Thanks to the removal of architectural barriers and the support of the staff, Paralympians can train here too.
The artificial-surface field and running track are used for summer sports, while in winter they become a Fun Park and a television village:
- Football pitch with artificial grass surface
- Four-lane running track with an artificial surface and a distance of 200 m
- Five-lane running track with an artificial surface and a distance of 60 m
Professional biathlon shooting range with access to biathlon courses and equipment
- Full-size, 30-lane biathlon shooting range with 50 m lanes, in accordance with IBU regulations
- Permanent equipment—target electronics and controls at the coaches’ ramp
- Movable equipment—shooting mats, rigging and lane markers
In summer, the biathlon shooting range becomes an asphalt roller-ski track approximately 2,000 m long. The asphalt training roller-ski tracks are 11.5 to 4 m wide and are intended for the transitional period. There is a start area, finish area, shooting area and a penalty loop in two different lengths. Three tracks are available: 300 m, 1,000 m and 2,000 m.
The hall inside the building can be used for many sports throughout the year. It has a climbing wall, basketball, volleyball and futsal courts, a handball court and a badminton court.
