Both teams began the match with mutual respect. Prochowiczanka created the first clear chance to score. In the 31st minute, following a fine move by Węgłowski and Żarczyński, the Prochowice striker found himself one-on-one with Sebastian Łokaj. For the first time in the match, our goalkeeper showed excellent reflexes, saving Żarczyński’s shot. Apart from that move, neither team created any scoring chances in this part of the match.
The second half began with determined attacks from Prochowice. Already in the 46th minute, following an error by our centre-back, Rusin found himself in a good position. Fortunately for BKS, his shot narrowly missed the right post. In the 56th minute, Żarczyński and Węgłowski once again failed to beat the impressive Łokaj. Seba saved two powerful close-range shots from Prochowiczanka players. The popular “Łoki” showed his ability again in the 67th minute (a confident save from a powerful free-kick) and in the 68th minute (good reflexes when saving a close-range shot by the Prochowice striker). In the 75th minute, Prochowice again had a chance to take the lead. After Żarczyński’s shot, Robert Gajewski headed the ball away as it flew towards the BKS goal.
Unfortunately, luck deserted BKS in the closing stages of the match. In the 89th minute, after a foul on a Prochowice player, the referee awarded a free-kick from 25 metres from our goal. Kula took the free-kick. A BKS defensive error was exploited by Prochowiczanka player Jacek Nowak, who headed the ball into our goal. Łokaj had no chance. BKS Bobrzanie lost 0–1 to Prochowiczanka Prochowice. With 17 points, our team is ninth in the league table.
We were terrible in attack against Prochowiczanka. Sebastian Łokaj defended very well. Congratulations to Seba Łokaj on a great match! Unfortunately, the further we moved from our own goal, the worse our play became. We created no danger in front of the Prochowice goal.
