Higher number – greater functionality
The younger PerfectCare 600 series features SensiCare. The washing machine has built-in sensors that measure the weight of the loaded laundry and adjust the optimal washing time accordingly, reducing water and energy consumption. As a result, washing does not take too long, and clothes look like new for longer.
The PerfectCare 700 series has SensiCare plus SteamCare, which is simply steam treatment. It should be noted that this does not involve removing dirt with steam. In this case, during the final stage of washing, clothes are exposed to steam to smooth out creases. This makes them easier to iron later, while some items made of synthetic fabrics and wool do not need ironing at all. In addition, clothes can be refreshed using steam and fragrance.
The next series, pralka electrolux perfect care 800, is equipped with the two technologies described above, and its distinctive feature is the UltraWash programme. This means washing at a temperature of 30ºC. The programme lasts 59 minutes. As is well known, washing in cool water is recommended for many fabrics, and using the UltraWash programme can reduce energy consumption by almost one third.
Finally, the top range, PerfectCare 900, has the ColourCare function, which is unique to this range. It is an ion-exchange filter that purifies water of minerals and dirt particles. As a result, fabric colours remain vivid after washing.
Is the series number related to the dimensions?
It should be noted that the series does not affect the size of the washing machine. For example, the Electrolux range includes a large number of top-loading models. They may belong to different series and therefore have some or all of the functions listed above. Similarly, slim models characterised by their shallow depth may offer the full functionality of older series. Small compact machines, on the other hand, mainly belong to the PerfectCare 600 series.
