Here is the most important summary. Using the available numerical indicators, we try to estimate the success achieved by local governments in 2018–2023.
The term of office we are discussing this time is exceptional in many respects. First and foremost, as a result of a parliamentary decision, it is longer than any previous one. Extending it from four to five years was accompanied by the postponement of local elections—from autumn 2023 to spring 2024.
We are presenting the results several weeks before the elections, but using data covering only up to 2022, and therefore partly outdated. However, we also faced the problem of delays in previous editions of the ranking.
How did our municipalities perform in the new ranking?
In the county-seat cities category
Miasto Bolesławiec ranked 116th.
In the small towns category
Nowogrodziec ranked 121st.
In the rural municipalities category
- Gromadka – 4th place
- Warta Bolesławiecka – 1097th
- Bolesławiec – 1120th
- Osiecznica – 1371st.
