This time, the issue concerns a local road leading from Raciborowice to Iwiny (near the wastewater treatment plant). The reader claims that the road is so muddy that it is difficult to ride a bicycle along it. In his opinion, the person responsible for the mud on the road should clean it up.
Such situations are regulated by the Code of Petty Offences, which provides for a fine, among other things, for polluting a public road—for example, by agricultural vehicles leaving fields or heavy goods vehicles leaving a construction site.
Code of Petty Offences:
Article 91. Anyone who pollutes a public road or leaves a vehicle, other object or animal on that road in circumstances in which this may cause danger or obstruct road traffic shall be subject to a fine of up to PLN 1,500 or a reprimand.
