Two collisions occurred on the A18 motorway on Thursday evening. First, the driver of a Mercedes, a Ukrainian citizen, failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions and consequently hit a barrier.
Then the driver of an Iveco, a resident of Katowice, also hit a barrier. The truck blocked two lanes of the A18 in the direction of Wrocław. (As the police established, the cause of the incident was the same: the Silesian man also failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions.)
Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in either incident. The drivers responsible were cautioned.
