The one-way Wańkowicza Street, connecting Jana Pawła II Street and Gałczyńskiego Street, will be renovated this year. The concrete, crumbling and cracked slabs will be removed. A new surface will be laid in their place. Additionally, parking spaces will be created on the Jana Pawła II Street side. A sidewalk and drainage systems will also be built. The total cost of the works is PLN 450,000.
At present, the road is so narrow that parked cars make it difficult for larger vehicles, such as garbage trucks, to pass. The street has not been cleaned for as long as anyone can remember; there has been no street sweeper there for many years. Recently, even the LED lighting installed only a short time ago stopped working. Despite reports to the city office, there is still no lighting.
