– Operational activities by criminal police officers from the Jawor police headquarters – combined with good cooperation with the local community – produced positive results in the form of the arrest of a man suspected of committing various types of crimes – reports asp. szt. Łukasz Dutkowiak, press officer for the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław.

He adds: – The 40-year-old has, among other things, possession of a significant quantity of drugs and items originating from thefts on his record, as well as counterfeiting currency with the aim of putting it into circulation.

In the apartment used by the man, which he initially refused to admit belonged to him because he knew what was inside, police officers secured items originating from a crime or used to commit one. These included:

  • more than 160 printed Polish banknotes in various denominations, from PLN 20 to PLN 200. (Some of them had already been prepared, while others still needed to be cut);
  • 1,500 retail portions of drugs (marijuana, amphetamine, methamphetamine, LSD blotters and ecstasy tablets).

Computers, external drives and memory cards were also secured, along with 50 batteries originating from thefts, whose value was estimated at no less than PLN 7,500.

Spokesperson:

Based on the evidence gathered by the police, the Jawor resident was charged, among other things, with counterfeiting money and possessing a significant quantity of psychotropic substances. By court decision, he was also remanded in temporary custody for three months.
