It is worth recalling that the project provides for the reconstruction of the pitch with an athletics track, the construction of retaining walls, sanitary containers, a storage container and a ticket-office container. The project also includes the construction of a referee tower building.
Stage I of the project includes the construction of:
- a pitch with a natural-grass surface and a playing area measuring 64 x 100,
- a 400 m oval athletics track (6 oval lanes, 8 straight lanes),
- two high-jump areas,
- two double-runway areas for long jump and triple jump,
- a two-sided pole-vault area,
- two javelin-throw areas,
- a discus- and hammer-throw area,
- two shot-put areas,
- a water jump for steeplechase events,
- shelters for athletes and officials.
Stage II of the project is planned to include the construction of stands and a warm-up track ending in a long-jump and triple-jump area.
The project is scheduled for completion at the end of September 2024. The investor is the Municipality of Bolesławiec. The works are being carried out by TAMEX OBIEKTY SPORTOWE SPÓŁKA AKCYJNA of Warsaw. The project is worth PLN 33,513,765. The investment is co-financed with PLN 4,500,000 from the Government Polish Deal Fund: Strategic Investment Programme and PLN 1,999,900 from the Physical Culture Development Fund as part of the Sportowa Polska – Local Sports Infrastructure Development Programme – 2021 Edition.
