The incident occurred on Tuesday (October 26) on the road from Bolesławiec to Nowogrodziec. The 12-year-old got off a bus in Nowogrodziec-Kolonia. The girl was hit by a Ford passenger car. Preliminary police findings indicate that the 12-year-old most likely emerged from behind the bus directly into the path of the oncoming car. The seriously injured child was taken to hospital. The Ford driver was sober.
Unofficially, we learned that the Ford driver had already experienced a tragedy before. He had a daughter who died in an accident.
