On 29 December 2023, a ceremony handing over three new police cars was held at the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters.
As our County Police Headquarters explains: – The vehicles were purchased with the support of Bolesławiec’s local governments. In 2023, all municipalities in Bolesławiec County provided funds earmarked for the purchase of new vehicles as part of cooperation for the safety of residents. Under the 50/50 programme, half of the funding was provided by the National Police Headquarters, while the other half came from the local governments of the City of Bolesławiec, the Municipality and City of Nowogrodziec, the Municipality of Bolesławiec, the Municipality of Gromadka, the Municipality of Warta Bolesławiecka and the Municipality of Osiecznica.
It adds:
Thank you for your support and cooperation.
The police cars will be used in day-to-day service throughout Bolesławiec County.
During the ceremony, four other service vehicles that arrived at the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters in 2023 were also presented. Two are used by officers of the Prevention Division: the first electric police car and a vehicle for transporting service dogs.
Two marked police cars, meanwhile, went to the Traffic Division, including a specialist van equipped, among other things, with a light-transmission meter and an exhaust-gas analyser.
