On Saturday, October 23, the 15th National Review of Music Bands Rock Blok w BOK was held in the Orzeł Animation Hall. The audience heard 12 bands. The jury (comprising: Alicja Janosz-Niebielecka, Bartek Miarka and Krzysztof Borowicz) awarded the main prize to the group Why from Legnica. The band will receive PLN 700 and be able to record an album at the new BOK-MCC studio. The second prize (PLN 300) went to the Legnica-based The Rippers Of Velocity.
The Review’s best guitarist was Jarosław Michalski of The Rippers Of Velocity. Sławomir Kosmala was named the best bassist, while Bartosz Korczyński of the Złotoryja-based DZL was named the best drummer. The event’s best vocalist was Małgorzata Pauka of Why. HooDoo Band was the event’s headline act.HooDoo Band.
