Member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland and Civic Coalition politician from the Legnica–Jelenia Góra constituency will run for the office of Mayor of Lubin. Robert Raczyński of the Non-Party Local Government Officials is currently the mayor of Lubin.

Piotr Borys announced his candidacy in the local elections on Monday, December 18, during an event in Lubin, where he handed out more than 500 hand-painted baubles with wishes for a healthy, joyful and family Christmas to local residents.
